- Interest rate risk, impact of taxation, payment terms (loans, HP – interest/ capital/ deferred)

Internally driven aspects of business finance
- Family businesses – generation changes
- Stock management, subjective valuations and manipulation of the balance sheet
- Opportunity/crisis planning e.g. sale and leaseback and exit planning
