Designed for:
Auditors wishing to gain an introductory understanding of the Sage 50 Accounts system, either to enable access to clients’ systems during audit or to be able to interrogate output data provided during audits, with a better understanding of the strengths and limitations of the system. This 1 day module can also be taken with the Sage Manipulation module to provide a more hands-on and detailed Sage Manipulation training solution.
Objectives
At the end of the module we expect participants to be able to use Sage 50 Accounts to:
Set up a company, Set up customers & suppliers, Raise transactions such as invoices and credit notes, Allocate cash received, Produce reports and the Chart of Accounts, Complete a VAT Return, Backup and restore
Content:
Throughout the module the Sage Expert uses a live Sage 50 Accounts system to take participants through areas shown below. Regular exercises are used to provide hands on experience in teams. An outline of the content is as follows:
